Preliminaries
These files have been deposited at the Noord-Hollands Archief (formally Rijksarchief in Noord-Holland), Kleine Houtweg 18, 2012 CH Haarlem, The Netherlands. They contain the documents and personal correspondence regarding the International Working Group on Legume Viruses (I.W.G.L.V.) as compiled over the years by one of the three 'founding fathers' of the Working Group. A member of the first Steering Committee, second Executive Secretary and personally intensively involved in research on viruses and virus diseases of legume in international context.
These files are not identical to the records of the Working Group, as assembled from its beginning until circa 1993 by the consecutive Executive Secretaries. Those records have - at the initiative of Dr. R.E. Ford - been deposited in the archival section of the Parks Library of the Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, USA, where they are open to the public. The records of the American Phytopathological Society (APS) are located there as well.

Engelstalige plaatsingslijst nrs. 1-14. L. Bos (1928-2010) was phytopatholoog.
